| At CIMT this April in Beijing, Drake will show off its compact 3-axis linear motor thread grinder (Model GS:TE-LM “Mini”) built for high volume threading of smaller parts.
Drake GS:TE-LM “MINI” is ideal for grinding:
- small taps
- thread rolls
- thread gages
- worms
- ballscrews
- e-steering components
- aerospace fasteners
- surgical bone screws
With the GS:TEM-Mini customers can grind multi-rib small form taps easily.
M1, M2, M3 sizes are no problem for the machine.
Automatic rocker style magazine loaders are integrated with the CNC system and are capable of handling part lengths up to 100mm and 3mm to 10mm diameter with appropriate tooling.
Drake has been actively selling this and other grinders in China and other Asian markets since 2001. Service technicians for Drake are located in Shanghai.
