We are seeking a Machine Tool Builder to join our team at our Warren, Ohio headquarters. The Drake Builder is multi-talented, likes to work with his/her hands, and has hobbies that involve the use of mechanical skills. This job involves the assembly, alignment, testing, installation, and service of custom precision grinding machines.

Electrical Engineers
We are a customer-focused, engineering-driven organization that develops some of the most advanced manufacturing systems available for a wide variety of demanding applications in the steering systems, power transmission, speed reducer, cutting tool, ball screw, linear motion, and aerospace industries.
Electrical Engineers are needed in two areas of our business:
Electrical Service Engineer
The Drake Electrical Service Engineer works alongside the Service Team and provides direct support to Drake customers as well as in-house projects. Service team members enjoy the unique opportunity to make a lasting positive impression on our customers and build the Drake reputation of exceptional customer service. This position requires a 2-year EET degree or BS in Electrical Engineering. Familiarity with AutoCAD or equivalent is required in addition to ability to read and understand electrical schematics, fluid schematics, and blueprints.
Drake Manufacturing is subject to U.S. export regulations and as such requires employees in this position to provide proof as a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Electrical and CNC Systems Engineer
The Drake Systems Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, programming, implementation, and documentation of the electrical hardware and software necessary to operate machine tools: developing the technical documentation; training operators; and providing customer support. This position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. The person in this position is proficient in 2D CAD, MS Word, and MS Excel; understands electrical schematics and industrial controls; has mathematical and mechanical aptitude; and, has strong analytical skills.

Both positions require the ability to travel independently domestically and internationally (up to 10%).

Software Development Engineer
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to work out of our Warren, Ohio headquarters. The Drake Software Development Engineer has a passion for developing and programming software in a CNC machine tool manufacturing environment with the goal of developing intuitive and robust software solutions for customers. This position requires a 4-year Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical degree. The person in this position is familiar with programming languages such as C#, Visual Studio, and C++. Experience with CNC operation and programming is helpful.
